Chai Pascal, Lunch at Saint-Emilion
If you are wine tasting in the Saint-Emilion area, you have to stop for lunch. The choices available to you are mostly typical French affair. Chai Pascal is located in rue Guadet, in a beautiful part of the village.
The food at Chai Pascal is usual french stuff which is good to go over a glass of local wine. They have a good selection of local wine, specially from Catherine Papon-Nouvel. Remember you are in the wine country and all their focus is to showcase their wines. Food is more incidental.
The usual soup, appetizers, main courses and combos available all over France are seen here too.
I should recommend the dessert section. Chai Pascal has delectable desserts, like the chocolate mousse, which are made in limited quantities and you should order them the moment you sit unless you want to be disappointed.
